Tortie Tuesday

Did you get to see the solar eclipse yesterday? If so, I hear it was amazing. If not, yeah, I didn't either. I was taking my five hour morning nap...
When Mommy came in babbling something about the total solar eclipse happening at 10:17am...
Seriously Mommy? You woke me up for an eclipse?
Clearly she didn't realize it meant it was going to get dark and what do we do when it gets dark? That's right. Sleep. *sigh* Anyway, I knew my little sisfur was watching her watch the eclipse because, well, she doesn't let Mommy out of her sight...
See, it got dark! I guess the stars came out too. I wouldn't know. I was sleeping.

How was your view of the eclipse?

Hope you enjoy a nap this Tortie Tuesday!
Isabella

Ha! At least you didn't have to worry about burning out your retinas by looking at the sun. :-D

Here in southeastern Ontario the coverage was about 70%. Quite a few staff members at the biped's office were outside, with their pinhole viewers. Our human went out too, but she watched the totality as it live-streamed.

I feel the same way as Isabella. Just don't care at all. Why? I've not a clue. I would have been napping with you.

Have a purrfect Tortie Tuesday. My best to Angel, your mom and J. ♥♥♥

Mom and Dad were excited and watched what they could through the cloud cover. Mags and I just sort of hung out.

the Mom here so enjoyed the eclipse. It was fantastic. Angel, we love that picture of you in the doorway. Isabella, you are looking great yourself. You were smart. Don't want to hurt your gorgeous eyes.

It wasn't much where we live - colors changed a little. My human forgot to get eclipse glasses and had to take her car in for new tires, so she missed it.

We only had 60 % covered. Naps are more fun than eclipses.

WOW! It DID get dark at your house! We had clouds here and the lighting was really no different from a cloudy day. But, I remember the odd light when we had an eclipse years ago. Very cool. Glad your Mommeh got to see it!
