If only... (From the Archives)

Mommy's been super busy at work with the 10/15 tax deadline coming up and now Daddy's sick (Isabella is holding him down so he gets some rest) so we're going to have a re-run today.   Hope you have a great day!

If only the birdies would come closer...
I could jump up to reach them!
Maybe I'll getcha next time birdie!
PeeS: It always freaks my mommy out when I jump up on the screen to get the birdies which is why our window is never fully open. She says it's something about being up on the second story, long fall down, not wanting us to get hurt, something like that. Mommy's are worry warts aren't they?

Angel, humans ARE worry warts - we kitties can totally handle ourselves!

We guess they are worry warts because they love us. :)

PS/ We're purring your Daddy feels better soon.

Sometimes my Spunky Doodle will bat at the screen if there is a bug on the other side, but not just for bird watching. I think she knows she can't get to it so doesn't waste her energy trying. So far, the screens are okay.

We are also purring for your Daddy and sure hope he gets better really soon.
Our Mom would freak out too if we jump on a screen. We have destroyed our whole screen porch. But that is a great picture Angel. Have a great day.

Hobbes prefers mousies to birdies--I wonder if you would too. They are fun to find under the plants and they just love to play hide and seek. The only problem is that most Mommehs make a lot of noise when mousies are around.

Mommies worry. I hope your daddy is feeling better soon!

Mommies are there to protect you. So you can watch the birdies and try to get them and she knows that you are safe doing same.

Have a purrfect day. My best to your mom. :)

Yeah, our mom worries about crazy stuff like that, too. I think it's in the Mom Handbook.
I hope your dad feels better soon; I'm sure Isabella is being a great help to him.

Hope Mom gets unbusy soon and Dad gets well. Meanwhile, do be careful up there, those birds aren't worth a big fall.

moms can be worry warts but I don't blame your mom for not wanting you to fall out the window and get hurt.
Hope your dad is feeling better soon

My peeps get all worried about me too. I guess it's just in their nature.
